Lord I want to be an Astronaut

When I was young, I always said that if the good Lord blessed me with a lot of grey matter between my ears, I would have become an astronaut! I really mean it. It would be awesome to step into space. But in this life here on earth, it was not meant for me to be. However, being a born-again child of God, another world is awaiting me in eternity. So one day, I shall step out into space.

He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name Psa 147:4

Can you believe that the whole universe and galaxy, each star and planet God gave each a name? He also knows your name. How many people live on this earth? What about the ones who already died thousands of year ago? What about the ones who are still going to be born? He knows them by name. Oh, and then the Bible also tells us that every hair on our heads is accounted for by God.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Luk 12:7    HOW BIG IS OUR GOD?

There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. 1Cor 15:41
Now not all of those trillions of stars are the same. He had the ability to make each one different. I guess that’s why He gave them each a name and not just a number. Just like we are all different and very special to Him.

What is man, that You should exalt him, that You should set Your heart on him? Job 7:17
To think that the One who made the galaxy sets His Heart on me!! Hallelujah

Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars of light.  Ps 148:3
Every time you look up to the stars and moon, you know that they are praising God. How do they do that? Well, they are so magnificently made, that you have to think of the Person who made them. Who is He? What must the Person be like that made such a beautiful star? Creation glorifies their Creator!  Praise the Lord!

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. Dan 12:3
‘Those that are wise’ Oh Lord, help me that I maybe wise! Because 80-90 years of life on this earth (if I get to live that long) cannot compare to eternity. I will shine like a star this scripture says. Why? Because I turned to God and I turn many to righteousness. It is my mission, to tell others the good news of the gospel and by the power of the Holy Spirit turn friends and loved ones away from their sins and darkness to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge and worship the Creator rather than His creation; and I encourage others to do the same so that they too will shine like stars for eternity. Hallelujah!

Remember, His heart is set on YOU !!
